English Didactics DC

During this week, I was not in college as most of my classmates, but this was not just because. We had the opportunity to volunteer as interpreters with "Helping Hands" in a health campaign, it was a great experience, we were all helping and interpreting in different parts.  The first day and on Tuesday I was helping with interpretation in the filters, they brought some water filters to give to some people in the community, so mostly the interpretation was about how to use the filter and how to take care of it properly. I also helped out with interpretation to achieve a proper communication between the doctors and the patients, it was a great experience. I worked the whole week with Sue, such a great person, she shared some fun facts about some medical terms and things that were totally new for me. Hello, welcome to my blog!  In this week, we were the teachers, or something like that. We were divided in groups and were supposed to create a presentation using some posters we created, in my case I worked with Josh and Miguel, and we created to most wonderful poster ever.  The topics me and my classmates talked about were: "La importancia del griego y el latín, nace la lingüística, y nace el método directo"  On Thursday, the class was the presentation of our wonderful creation.                There is not much to talk about this week, see you next time!  - How can we forgive ourselves for all the things we didn't say until it was too late?
